Mario Klinger lives and works in Munich
1978	Born in Nuremberg, Germany
2000-2005	Studied art history, visual culture, physics and Roman history of law at Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich
2005	M.A. in history of art with a thesis about: The artistic positions of Picasso between 1907-1912. A new concept of image and its refference to a new view of the world typified in the positions of the theoretic physics at the beginning of the 20th century.
2005-2008	Doctorade in history of art with a dissertation on the topic: Adam Fuss. The early photograms (1986-1995). Aesthetic positions and hermeneutic methods in the area of conflict between the concept of image, chaos and causality.
2008-2009	Studiomanager of Alessandro Twombly in Rome
2011	Artist-in-Residence-Stipend from the German Embassy for the Arts and Social Justice Conference, Department of Communications in conjunction with the Mass Media and Communications Institute at The University of Nicosia Cyprus
since 2013	Research associate and staff member, FHNW Academy of Art and Design, Basel
